The Omhara is a large, three eyed, hoofed carnivore found on Aiur. It is fast and armed with sharp teeth.
Although lacking higher intelligence (when compared to a sapient species), it possesses strong primal instinct with an equally powerful body to match. It makes its home in caves, its eyes adapted to the low light conditions. It's adaptations and camouflage make it a formidable nocturnal hunter.
During the Aeon of Strife, the Shelak Tribe heaped religious significance on the Omhara. This took the form of offerings of food, namely of Protoss from other tribes they had slain in combat and sometimes those seen as traitors from their own.

The Omhara's DNA composes the core genus of the Crusher, however, due to the failed invasion of the planet by the Succubus Brood, the Omhara species as a whole survived.
