The Phalanx is a robotic assault unit created through the usurped designs of the Terran Vulture.

The Phalanx is basically a robotic hybrid of Reaver and Vulture technology. It uses a modified Particle Disruptor cannon as its primary armament, but its strength comes in its ability to produce Spider Drones, created through the application of Scarab Drone and Spider Mine technology.
In essence, the Phalanx fills the role of a shielded Protoss Vulture.
