It mainly consists of the trainer randomly picking out a card from a deck and seeing if the psychic can guess what it is before they both look at it (Star Wars - the Phantom Menace: Anakin Skywalker). Those who could guess correctly were usually given small rewards such as breaks from physical training or communication with family. Those who did not where sent to other training sessions to develop different skills.
