The Lynex vertebrae is a cybernetic implant used to replace damaged spinal columns.
Reverse engineered from salvaged Protoss technology, the implant reacts to neural stimulation as regular vertebral nerves. Being relatively new to Terran medicine, the Lynex vertebrae is extremely expensive and usually reserved for high ranking field commanders.
The implant can also temporarily augment user reflexes to superhuman levels. When stimulated into combat, users can react as if predicting attacks. Some even claim that they can see low caliber bullets and Zerg claws in slow motion.
