The Reclaimer is a Protoss structure used to salvage resources and technology.
After the Brood War, the protoss have been busy trying to recover what is left of their empire. Due to their new nomadic lifestyle, they needed to efficiently maintains what little resources they had before even thinking of retaking lost territory.
Reclaimers were developed to mitigate this problem. Often located in bases and colonies, these buildings use teleporters to transport micro-beacons attached to robots. As long as the beacons remain intact, they can warp back most of the wreckage for repair or recycling.
Special abilities:
- Warp recovery (passive) - has a 75% chance of recovering 50% of resources from mechanical units destroyed in battle
